The Youth Business Grant Program (YBGP) in Los Alamos is a summer program that encourages young people to open and run their own business will be accepting applications for the Summer 2012 Program in late spring 2012. Check out the 'How to Apply' tab to download the application.

The goal of the program is to help young entrepreneurs in the Los Alamos community-area learn about the day-to-day responsibilities and the advantages and disadvantages of operating a business.

 

More than 245 summer businesses have received grants of up to $400 since the first youth business opened in 1985.

So, whether you're interested in being a disc jockey or a software developer, this program is for YOU!

Applicants from Los Alamos, Jemez Springs, Espanola and Pojoaque are encouraged to apply for business grants of up to $400*.
